STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God the Father is a spirit being, all knowing, ever present, all powerful, holy, loving, merciful and righteous. He, himself, is always good, the giver of life to all because He is life and love.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God who came in the flesh and became man. We believe that he physically died and rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who made the new birth possible and dwelling within us to empower us for service and ministry.

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and in need of a Saviour, Jesus Christ who became our substitute and paid the penalty of sin for all mankind. For whosoever will repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour will inherit eternal life.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit when it was written. We believe in the Old and New Testaments and no new books will be added to the Bible.

We believe in final judgment for all mankind.

We believe the church is the body of Christ used by Him through the work of the Holy Spirit to empower it to serve, to minister, to heal and to save the world.

We believe in the Holy Communion emblems – the bread and the wine – which Jesus instructed us to continue to observe until He comes again.

We believe that we live by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not by works.
